MFOQA—Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance

U.S. Army: The synthetic battalion laboratory we built helped confirm the benefits of the Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance (MFOQA) & Training - QinetiQ North AmericaUS. Army’s Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance program. It enabled Army leaders, government officials and active-duty soldiers to interact with specialists to identify user requirements. Our support helped the Army to:

  • Capture battalion-level user information requirements
  • Demonstrate merit of “connecting the dots” in stove-piped data systems
  • Document 662 observations
  • Develop 65 operational requirements for its MFOQA program

U.S. Navy: Our flight data analysis and visualization tools provided significant Navy's Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance (MFOQA) & Training - QinetiQ North Americaimprovement to the Navy’s MFOQA Program, particularly during its debrief sessions. The Navy used our tools to:

  • Analyze and visualize flight performance and aircraft systems data
  • Assess aircraft crew performance
  • Troubleshoot maintenance discrepancies and identify unfavorable trends

Our software tools proved so useful as a debriefing tool, the U.S Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron took the tools with them when they deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom.
