Washington Technology Top 100
QinetiQ North America ranked 43rd on Washington Technology’s Top 100 list of government contractors in 2011. Organizations that make the list are ranked according to prime contracting revenue in government fiscal year 2010.
NASA Silver Snoopy Award
QinetiQ North America has received 10 Silver Snoopy awards to date. The Silver Snoopy is an award NASA astronauts present to its employees and contractors for outstanding achievements related to human flight safety or mission success. No more than 1% of eligible recipients qualify for the award, and an individual can only receive one Silver Snoopy in their lifetime. (Peanuts cartoonist Charles Shultz, a longtime enthusiast for space flight, designed the award in the 1960s.)
GSA Customer Satisfaction
QinetiQ North America has received nine consecutive #1 ratings in overall customer satisfaction by ANSWER GWAC customers based on the annual GSA satisfaction survey.
Prime Contractor of the Year
In 2009, QinetiQ North America received the Kennedy Space Center Large Prime Contractor of the Year award for our outstanding engineering and technical management services to NASA on the Expendable Launch Vehicle Integrated Support (ELVIS) contract to the NASA Launch Services Program (LSP).
C4ISR Journal Big 25
QinetiQ North America’s Zephyr, our lightweight solar powered unmanned aerial vehicle, received a C4ISR Journal 2008 Big 25 honor in the innovation category.
