Intelligence Community
Fourth-generation conflicts needs fourth generation intelligence
At QinetiQ North America, we understand that fourth-generation conflict needs fourth-generation intelligence, with products shaped by all-source analysis and cyber-awareness to meet the needs of our intel community customers.
Our capabilities include all-source analysis aimed at identifying and characterizing adversary intentions and capabilities. Current intelligence/warning analysis is directed at quickly identifying events anywhere in the world relevant to ongoing or planned operations. Open source analysis—particularly important today—meets operational needs using only publicly available information. Finally, specialized technical analysis gives decision makers an in-depth understanding of key problems, such as the human terrain, including social networks and behavior.
Cyber threat analysis
Our cyber analysis capability allows us to identify and characterize hostile attempts to collect against and penetrate US data networks. We also perform red and blue team studies and design technical and behavioral defenses against hostile action.
Operations analysis
We devise metrics for evaluating the success of US analysis and production, provide evaluations using advanced statistical techniques, track relative success across activities and over time, and recommend measures to improve performance.
