Special Access Program Security
We provide Special Program Administration support for a full compliment of security services to customer programs, including clearances, work space control, billet management, indoctrinations/debriefings, scheduling employees for polygraph exams, security awareness, and pre-departure overseas threat briefings. We assist in the inventory, handling, and accountability of SCI information; receive, inventory, control, account for, transfer, transmit, and store controlled classified material; maintain databases, and ensure the proper accountability and handling of all special program information in accordance with applicable DCIDs. We manage Sensitive Compartment Information security operations for several DoD customers, and have performed duties as alternate SCI Control Officer in accordance with rules established for varying levels of access.
Additional activities include:
- Conducting annual self-inspections of SCIFs
- Preparing and maintaining accreditation documentation and monitoring status of actions affecting accreditation
- Verifying accesses and clearances for SCI briefings/meetings and monitoring doors
- Maintaining an average of 1,250 billet rosters
- Processing individual SCI access nominations at an average of 500 per year with 100 debriefs
- Maintaining SCI personnel security records
- Providing JWICS user terminal access with VTC capability at dispersed SCIF locations
- Serving as the Defense Courier Service liaison with organizations requiring shipment of SCI material, classification marking and handling, and secure storage for SCI materials.
